Our history

FleurPech1.JPGLocated in south of France between the Alpes mountains and Provence, "Fruit Nature" is a familial farm of 40 hectares cultivated from the early 20th century. Natural conditions of our region allow us to produce a large range of high quality fruit: apples, pears, peaches, apricots, cherries…
In 1970, we decided to convert all our fields to the organic farming methods to find an alternative way to chemical products used. We reached others farmer to set up the standards of a clean agriculture methods now well know as organic farming.

We are now proud to propose safe and tasty fruits as well as a range of fruit juices. All of these products are controlled and certified by an independent inspection body Ecocert.


Our juices

We have created a large range of juice from local to exotic taste !

The mixed juices are generally apple based as it is a local sweet and delicious raw material. The first and strongest flavour you feel is the added fruit (for exemple Black Currant in the apple-black currant mix).

Our juices are made from fruits that are grown without any chemical treatment or fertilizer.

But organic farming can not be summarized as this only recipe. Actually conventional farming try to solve each occurred problem with a chemical substance. But it usually does not take care about causes of the problem. Organic farming has a more global and holistic approach. We do not only take care of the means of production (for us trees), but we consider trees and this environment (soil, climate, others species including human) as a global entity. Therefore we try to work in respecting natural cycles : nitrogenize, oxygen, water and species.

Of course we have to intervene. Regarding fertilization nitrogenize (N, that is the main component of vegetable growth) is brought as manure and compost that are slowly mineralized in the soil by insects and bacteria. By this way nitrogenize follows his natural cycle in the soil, from the organic form to the mineral one. Conventional farmers bring already mineralized nitrogenize (usually nitrates) that is directly assimilated by the roots. Despite, this way bring better yields, mineral nitrogenize are washed by rain (unlike organic form) and polluted drinking water. Moreover it breaks natural nitrogenize cycle in shunting soil insects and bacteria activity and so disequilibrate and impoverish soil as well as fruit quality (taste and nutrients).

What is organic ?

Herbicides are forbidden regarding organic farming. Therefore we control herb by expensive mechanical equipments that take a lot of time to use.

Conventional farmers manage pest and disease threats in applying chemical substances able to cure it. Organic farmers try to prevent illness and pest damages in using fruit varieties adapted to climate and environment and therefore presenting natural resistance to pest/disease. They maintain trees balance that prevent weakness and disease (i.e: an nitrogenize excess lead to a more attractive sap to aphids and increase their number and damages). We protect flora and fauna diversity to maintain pest population at an acceptable level. The aim is not to get the highest yield with 0% of damage but to get an economically acceptable harvest without a minimal amount of intervention.

In complement, we use vegetal extract to enforce immunity tree system. We apply mineral and vegetal extract and biological treatment as insecticide and fungicide. All this compounds are strictly included in the European Organic Farming specifications and controlled. But as this products are specific and do not deteriorate fauna and flora diversity there are also less efficient than chemicals. Nevertheless an organic fruit is free of chemical residues that may cause disease.

All of these difference leads organic grower to get lower yield and higher damage level. So production costs are higher and need to be compensated by a higher price. But organic farming bring better quality of fruit (nutrient and taste) and prevent environment pollution.

Our sales argument

Fruits used in our juices are produced according to the European Organic legislation EEC 2092/91 and controlled and certified by an independent inspection body. Moreover we grow organic fruits, and only organic fruit, from more than 30 years and are so experienced in organic produce.

puce1.gif Our juices are 100% pure fruit. Fruits are carefully selected from our own farm, pressed, softly pasteurized to preserve nutritional quality and bottled.

puce1.gif Our juices have an high taste quality No sugar, water, preservative, artificial or natural added. (Except apricot nectar and Hibipêch'that are diluted because of the fruit puree thickness). Juices are not made from concentrate.

puce1.gif As no sugar is added, our juices are a dietetic drink. We need around 2 kg of fruit to get 1 liter of juice. So drinking a 250 ml glass of juice is equivalent in eating 500gr of fruit.

puce1.gif Fruits are necessary to a healthy life therefore our juices are very convenient in replacing fruit at any moment: during breakfast as an energetic starter or in the day as refreshing drink.

Our fruit juices are particularly recommended to children, sportsman and active people as alternative fresh fruit consumption.
